1993 Chevrolet Silverado
standard cab long box 2WD. Color black with light gray interior. 5.7 liter
V8, 17 MPG highway. I drove this truck back and forth to work since purchased
new. It has been economical, reliable transportation. I like it so much that I
replaced it with a new 2006 Silverado just like it, in preparation for my retirement
years. The truck easily passed Virginia inspection last November. Includes:
Power windows/door locks. Power steering and brakes. Automatic
transmission. Limited slip differential. Alloy wheels. Bed liner.
60/40 split cloth seat. AM/FM/cassette radio. Sliding rear window.
Trailer receiver hitch/wiring. |

Runs and drives fine. Currently
licensed and registered in Virginia, with almost 252,000 miles - the engine starts easily
and runs great. Transmission is good. Heat is good, A/C has leak but will work after
R-134a recharge. Battery and starter new in 2005. Coolant system has
undiscovered leak - easy to keep it topped off with fluid. Glass is good. No
major body damage, slight crease on lower passenger side from driveway maneuvering
incident. Some small rust spots could use attention. Chrome trim is peeling in
places. Upholstery good other than cracked vinyl armrest. Cruise control recently
stopped working - suspect bad relay. Exhaust and tires are good - two tires new
(UniRoyal Tiger Paws). Good full size spare. |
